Whether you just got a new pleated skirt that seems to keep getting wrinkled, or a stain on your favorite white Adidas shoes that you can’t seem to get out; sooner or later we’re all bound to encounter #FashionGirlProblems, that are definitely not fun to go through.
So to make our lives a little easier (and less stressful) I’ve compiled a list covering everything from how to stop a sweater from shedding, to getting an annoying zipper to zip up, to help any fashion girl that may struggle with these dilemmas!
So check out all seven of my handy tricks down below, that will help simplify your life.
Hack one: There’s always that pesky zipper on your jeans, purse or jacket, that never seems to zip up or down when you want it to, so try fixing that problem by rubbing either vaseline, crayon wax or the tip of a pencil along the teeth of the zipper, to help it slide smoothly without any problems.
Hack two: Have you ever got a red wine stain on your clothes, but didn’t know what to use to get it out? Well try pouring club soda on the stain before you wash it and see what happens. Just make sure you let it air dry instead of putting it in the dryer and you should be good to go!
Hack three: During the Summer time we sweat, and sometimes it shows! So why not banish those deodorant stains by applying a mixture of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and water to your top, for a clean and refreshed look.
Hack four: Dark wash jeans and black jeans tend to fade if you keep washing them over and over again. So try preventing that by adding ½ cup of distilled vinegar to the last washing cycle in your washing machine, to keep your jean’s exactly how you purchased them!
Hack five: Get rid of sweater peels by using a velcro hair roller, that will help pick up all of those annoying little balls on your sweater in a snap. Not only is it a home-made and a affordable way to clean up your sweater, but it’s also a really dependable way to get rid of the peels as well.
Hack six: Keep your white shoes looking white, by using the exact same mixture as hack three, which is baking soda, water, and hydrogen peroxide on a toothbrush or a towel, to lightly scrub off any stubborn stains on your shoes. This way, you can keep them looking squinky clean and ultra shiny! ;)
Hack seven: Ironing can be a pain at times and can take quite some time (especially if you don’t want any annoying bunches and gathering). Which is why this hack is so cool because all you have to do is just hang up your wrinkled garment on your shower rack while you’re taking a shower, and let the steam from the shower de-wrinkle your garment. And once you’re done, you can let it air-dry and then throw it right on!
Alrighty, so those were all my seven hacks that you can do to your clothes! I hope you enjoyed reading and learning about the hacks that I listed, and can hopefully test out all or some of them anytime you have a random fashion dilemma!
