October is here and Fall is upon us, and that means it’s time for another monthly favorite of all the goodies I used, tried and am loving.
But this time it’s a bit more mixed instead of the usual themes that I often do, since I have a filter, a drink, a camera lens and even a wig that I have tried for last month, that I thought were bomb.com! Some of these things go from big investments (or at least for my budget) to things that were totally free at the grocery store that I thought were really good.
So check out my September faves!
Vignette Filter

I am fully aware that the vignette filter is not a new filter since I have used it in the past and even recently on my Instagram pictures. But I have now just started to use it on my pictures for my blog a few weeks ago, through a website called fotoramio, and I think it’s really cool! I love how it gives my pictures this shadowy, slightly dark but intense depth of field, that in my opinion no other filter does justice doing.
Gold peak coffee
So this was actually a free item at my local Kroger grocery store, since they always have free coupons on Friday to try out different products. And normally I am not a coffee person and will not make an effort to drinking it at home, in a bottle or even at Starbucks. However, this coffee was surprisingly delicious and very sweet, which is exactly how I like my drinks to be. I did share this with the rest of my family to taste, but I kinda didn’t want to share the rest, because I secretly just wanted it all by myself because it was that good.😘☕
My wig

I’m the type of person where I will wear out a hairstyle so much, that I will end up getting sick of it and will want to do something entirely different. So that’s why I thought getting a wig might cure my indecisiveness with my hair, and give me more options to do something new with it, due to it being longer, fuller and just more versatile on how I want to wear it. So that’s why I got a half wig with a curly texture, to make it easier to blend with my natural hair, since it was designed where I can leave out the front part of my hair to do more unique styles. It’s most definitely something that’s a bit out of my comfort zone giving that I haven’t worn a wig in years, but I actually really like it and think it looks really good!
My new camera lens

For the longest it seemed like I couldn’t get this lens for the life of me! It seemed like every time I tried to buy it something would intervene and I couldn’t just get it, which was so annoying. But thankfully, I was able to get it last month and am so happy! This bad boy came used but in like-new condition on Amazon, with a sigma filter, a lens cap, a hood and a small drawstring bag for whenever I need to put it away. The name of it is the Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G Lens, and comes fixed with a aspheric view, which makes it more zoomed and focused. Overall, this lens is perfect, and is a great lens for beginner photographers (like me).
And that wraps up all of my September faves. Let me know your thoughts about all the items and products I tried out for last month, and if you tried them out before or not. Thanks for reading, and I will see you guys next week.

That wig looks amazing!! Also, I have no idea about different lenses, I only have one, but the way you describe that lens, and seeing the photos you shared, I’m very curious about it :D
