Top 10 Spring Fashion Trends

The ice is starting to melt and the weather is getting a little warmer, and that means it’s time to start fashion forecasting Spring trends!

So I’ve put together a list of the top fashion trends that I’ve been coming across a lot lately that I am loving.

Here’s the list!

Matching sweater sets

The first trend that I want to talk about are sweater sets. They’re a big trend this year and every influencer has been sporting them. I love these sets because they’re a two-in-one and make getting dressed so much easier. I’ve already snagged a set from River Island and plan to get a lot more!

Mini bags

Whether it’s a pochette, saddle bag or a coin purse, mini bags are coming in hot for the Spring! I’ve seen them being styled as a belt, across the chest and just carried by hand. These bags might be small but are super versatile on how they can be worn.

Distressed jeans

Sick of having jeans that look boring and dull? Well, as of recent, distressed jeans are making an appearance in a lot of stores. They’re ranging from a hint of distress to full on rips! So if you’re currently looking for a bit of edge to your look, these jeans would be a nice choice.

Mini hoops

I’m a sucker for a good big hoop earring, but I also don’t mind a mini hoop either. And now the mini’s are taking over the spotlight and are a key piece for this season! I love these types of earrings because you can layer them with other small jewelry pieces to create an intricate look.

Animal print sneakers

Animal print sneakers are another trend you guys can look out for! They add a bit of animalistic vibes to the regular plain sneaker and really do enhance them. These shoe styles would be great for anyone who wants to step outside their comfort zone without going too cray-cray.

Smocked tops and dresses

Smocked tops and dresses are the perfect piece of clothing that will add a bit of flirt and flare to your wardrobe this season! I love smocked designs because they’re super flattering and feminine, and look great with a cute pair of sandals and sunnies. I’ll make sure I’ll be wearing some smocked pieces when the weather has fully broken in!

Headbands

Another trend that is very popular is headbands. Whenever I feel like my hair needs some excitement I just throw on a headband and it looks so much better! The headbands this season have been coming in all sorts of styles and colors that will match any outfit. I’ve seen them in many different shapes, textures and prints and I’m here for it!

Shackets

Shackets are the perfect jacket and shirt combo for the Spring. You can throw it over a plain top and pair it with some mom jeans and sneakers and will get an instant casual look. I love this style of jacket because you can wear it during transitional weather without being too hot or too cold.

Slides

Slides are quite the shoes as of right now! You can slip right into them and go about your day. The cool part about this type of style is that it varies from sandals, house shoes to mules and adds an effortless vibe to an outfit.

Preppy skirts

And lastly, we’ve come down to the preppy skirts! This trend is once again very popular on Instagram and has been spotted on lots of gals. I personally think this trend is very whimsical and cute, and love to see how different influencers style it. In my opinion, I can see this trend being around for quite some time.
